Obituary- Puckett, Florance

MRS. FLORENCE PUCKETT
Mrs. Florence Parr Puckett, 82, 724 Freeman, died Monday, September 25, 1978, in a Rossville rest home. She had a heart ailment and had been a patient in a Topeka hospital earlier.

She was born December 16, 1895, near Dover and spent most of her life in Shawnee County. She worked, at the Topeka Supply Depot until 1958. She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church.

She was married to John Parr in 1914. He died January 28, 1950. She was married to Leroy Puckett March 1, 1958, at Onaga. He survives.

Other survivors include a son, Glenn Parr, Onaga; three stepsons, Harry Puckett and Kenneth Puckett, both at Lawrence, and Wayne Puckett, Tucson, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
