Obituary- Reser, Bernard

Bernard B. Reser
Bernard B. Reser, 80, Route 1, Winchester, died Tuesday, March 18, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Reser was a retired farmer.
He was born May 5, 1905, at Ross¬ville, the son of John and Nellie McDonell Reser. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nortonville.
He was married to Agnes Imholte May 7, 1949, in Pasadena, Calif. She died Dec. 6, 1977.
Survivors include a son, Royce Reser, Emporia; three daughters, Juliana Reser, Pratt, Coralie Collins, Topeka, and Marlina Adams, Yuma, Kan.; a brother, Eugene Reser, To¬peka; three sisters, Mrs. Claire Sterkel, Denver, Mrs. Dorothy Vail, To¬peka, and Veronica Penka, Garnett; and four grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nortonville. Buri¬al will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Nortonville. Mr. Reser will lie in state after 9 a.m. today at O’Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville where parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today.
