    Amber Colleen McLain and Jeffrey Eugene Huske were united in marriage at 2 p.m. May 9, 1998, at the Old Stone Church in Maple Hill.

    The Rev. Deron Johnson officiated.

    The bride is the daughter of Charles A. McLain of Topeka and Georgia E. Stark of Rossville. Parents of the bridegroom are Roy F. Huske Jr. and Teresa J. Raines, both of Ottawa.

    Joi L. Ridder, Topeka, was her sister's matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Lau Ray C. McLain, St. Marys, and Michelle L. Wood, Delia. Kali M. Willford, Topeka, daughter of the bride, was the junior maid of honor.

    Lonnie Russell, Topeka, was best man. The groomsmen were the groom's brothers, Lynn Ball of Centropolis and Justin Huske of Topeka.

    Emily McCall, Topeka, was the flower girl. Wendy White, Topeka, was the bride's personal attendant and wedding coordinator.

    The reception attendants were Laurie Jones, Sally Bolton and Cecelia McCall, all of Topeka, and Kim Van Vleck, Rossville.

    The bride is a graduate of Rossville High School and attended Washburn University. She is a pharmacy technician at Care Pharmacy in Topeka.

    The groom is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School. He is employed by Interior Contractors in Topeka as a plasterer.

    After a wedding trip to Missouri, the couple are at home in Topeka.
