Mr. Bailey is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Bailey of Hoyt. Mrs. Bailey has always lived in this community, receiving her education in the Rossville schools. Mr. and Mrs. Bailey are at home on their farm north of Grove.
  		Anniversary- Bailey, Emerson and Edna Celebration is planned Mr. and Mrs. Emerson M. Bailey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. December 9 at the Presbyterian Church in Rossville. Hosts will be their children, Gary and Linda Bailey, Wichita; John and Sharon Swan, Topeka; and Lanny and Phyllis Bailey, Silver Lake. Their grandchildren, Laura Bailey Johnson, Colorado Springs; Diane Bailey, Wichita; Melinda, Melissa and Mirl Swan, Topeka; and Scott, Kelly and Mathew, Silver Lake.
