Exchange vows Sept. 4 in Delia Presbyterian Church

Eugenia Christine Dugan became the bride of Mr. Fred Dean Pace at 8:00 p.m., Sept. 4. The couple exchanged their vows at the Delia Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Jerry Howard officiating.

Candlelighter's were Scott Dugan, brother of the bride, and Wendy Dugan, the bride's cousin.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dugan of Delia. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Pace Jr., St. Marys.

The bride wore an A-line floor-length gown of bridal satin and Venise lace. The empire bodice was fashioned with a high neck and long full sleeves. Wide lace panels threaded with pink satin ribbon, accented the bodice and skirt. The detachable lace trimmed train was of chapel length.

A Camelot cap with tiny white pearls and pink bows held her veil. She carried a bouquet of red roses and pink carnations.

Attending the bride were: Nancy Brunin, Topeka, matron of honor; Cathy Parr of Rossville, and Roxann Matyak, Delia, bridesmaids. Their velvet street-length dresses were empire style with short puggy sleeves and low neck trimmed in white lace. Mrs. Brunin's dress was pink, with Misses Parr and Matyak wearing burgundy. Each carried a single long stemmed rose.

Ed Brunin served as best man, and groomsmen were Daryl Rutschmann and Dennis Ronsse. Daryl and Dennis also served as ushers.

Flower girl was Barbara Sue Dugan, cousin of the bride, and David Dugan, brother of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Miss Marita Kerwin played the selections, "Theme from Romeo and Juliet," and "Theme from Love Story," along with the traditional wedding march for the bridal couple.

Miss Jerri Dugan, sister of the bride, presided at the guest book.

A reception in the church followed the ceremony. The two-tiered chocolate wedding cake was iced in pink and trimmed with pink and burgundy roses. Presiding at the refreshment table were Edy Dugan, sister of the bride, Pam Scheidegger and Ramona Branam, cousins of the bride. Gifts were opened by Jean Kerwin and Michelle Harden.

The bride is a graduate of Rossville High School and is employed as a dental assistant in Topeka.

Mr. Pace is a graduate of St. Marys High School and is employed as a salesman at Ed Marling's of Holiday Square in Topeka.
