    Jacobson-Pauly Marriage Announced
Miss Rosemary Jacobson and Mr. Ronald Eugene Pauly exchanged marriage vows at 10 a.m. October 16 in the Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John Jacobson Sr. of Rossville and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pauly of St. Marys.

The bride wore a floor length gown of peau taffeta and chantilly lace in rose design. The lace bodice was fashioned with a scalloped sabrina neckline and long bridal sleeves. The Empire waistline was finished with a small bow in front. A wide band of scalloped lace encircled the A-line taffeta skirt and the detachable watteau train which fastened at the waistline. Her waist-length veil of silk illusion fell from a pillbox of lace beaded with seed pearls and sequins. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses highlighted with stephanotis and gold-tinted foliage, centered with a removable corsage.

Mrs. Jim Lloyd, Rossville, was her sister's matron of honor, and Sandy Lloyd, Willard, and Patty Pauly of St. Marys were bridesmaids. They wore floor-length gowns of autumn yellow and gold styled with empire bodices of satin brocade and skirts of silk crepe. The sheath design featured elbow-length sleeves and scoop necklines. Enhancing the back of the gowns were watteau panels of matching brocade caught at the high-rise waistlines with self-fabric bows. Each wore a self-fabric bow on her veil. They carried bouquets of short cascade of green and gold Fuji mums with gold tinted greens.

Connie Sue Wild and Debbie Jacobson, Rossville, were flower girls. Their gowns were of yellow silk crepe with empire waistlines accented with brocade bows and long streamers. They carried flower baskets filled with talisman petals and circlets of small pompoms of yellow and gold were worn on their heads.

Todd Lambotte, Rossville, carried the rings.

The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Gary Tomson of Delia, best man, and Mr. Jim Pauly and Mr. John Pauly of St. Marys, groomsmen. Ushers were Mr. Francis DeDonder of St. Marys and Mr. Bill Keefe, Topeka.

The organist was Mrs. Joe Ronsse of St. Marys. Mrs. Bill Pauly of Perry was soloist. She sang "Ave Maria" and "On This Day Oh Beautiful Mother."

At the reception, Vicki Fryman and Marsha Scott, both of Topeka, attended the punch and cake table.

Mrs. Sharon Graves of Rossville was in charge of the guest book. Carolyn Farley, Rossville and Karen DeVader, Emmett, were at the gift table. Their corsages were of brownish-gold pompoms and nosegays.

Mrs. Pauly is employed by the National Reserve Life Insurance Co. in Topeka. Mr. Pauly is employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Topeka.

The couple is now at home in St. Marys.
