    Miss Betty Jean Stiles and Mr. Patrick L. Schneider were married at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rossville, June 10 at 7:00 o’clock in the evening.

    The Rev. Gary Mitchell of Leavenworth officiated at the nuptial Mass.

    The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Howard Stiles, Rossville, and the late Mr. Stiles. Mr. Schneider is the son of Mrs. Charles Schneider, Nortonville, and the late Mr. Schneider.

    For her wedding the bride chose a white satin gown with wrist-length sleeves of bridal point lace. Her illusion veil was caught to a headpiece of white daisies, and she carried a bouquet of pink roses and white daisies. She was attended by Mrs. Robert Dee Macha of Delia.

    Mr. Schneider’s brother, Mr. Ralph A. Schneider of Mound City, served as best man.

    Mrs. Schneider is a graduate of Rossville High School and Washburn University, and until recently was an elementary teacher in the Leavenworth public school system.

    Mr. Schneider, a graduate of Nortonville High School, is stationed with the U.S. Army at Fort Carson, Colorado. Before being called to active duty he was assistant manager of Harry’s IGA, No. 4, Topeka.

    The couple is now at home at 2525 East Uintah, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
