April 18. Father Shawn P. Tunink officiated. The couple’s parents are Chris and Pam Urban and Jim and Debbie Thompson, all of Silver Lake. The bride’s grandparents are Freda Dinwiddie, Topeka, and the late Paul Dinwiddie, and Melvin and Helen Urban, Ellinwood. The groom’s grandparents are Dick and Terri Perry, Topeka; the late Bud Huske; and the late Arthur and Fran Thompson. Sara Ross was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenny Urban, Joely Ross, Cherise Miller and Katie Berner. Derek Thompson was best man. Groomsmen were Jason Ross, Ryan Huske, Matt Frehe and Shannon Kruger. The flower girl and ring bearer were Maci Frehe and Kale Frehe. Serving as ushers were Austin Urban, Bryan Lindstrom and Brad Lindstrom. Christin Thompson and Shelley Matalone were the bride’s attendants. A reception, dinner and dance followed at the Holiday Inn. The bride is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in architectural engineering. She is employed at Bartlett & West, Architectural Engineering Division. The groom is a graduate of Emporia State University with a degree in computer information systems. He is vice president of marketing at Advisors Excel in Topeka. They honeymooned in Las Vegas and reside in Silver Lake.
