| Anniversary- Lasswell, Roy and Agnes 2 Lasswells will Observe 75th Anniversary Christmas Day
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lasswell will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary December 25, 1986, quietly at their home in St. Marys.
The couple, accompanied by Harley Seigle and Emma Rezac Peddicord, rode the train to Topeka to be married. They returned to the home of the bride’s parents, where a bountiful meal was served to relatives and friends.
The first 46 years of their married life was spent on a farm north of Emmett. Twenty-nine years ago Roy and Agnes moved to St. Marys.
They are the parents of two daughters, Mrs. George Lucas, Topeka, and Mrs. Marvin Davis, Rossville. The Lasswells have five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great- great-grandchildren — five generations.
Friends and relatives are encouraged to help them in the observance of this anniversary with cards and visits.
