Father Berens officiating, before an altar banked with beautiful cut flowers.

Nuptial music was furnished by Mrs. Raymond Vande Velda accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Bill Hill.

The bride was lovely, dressed in a white marquisite gown with finger tip veil and carried an arm bouquet of red roses. The bride was given away by her brother, Charles Martin.

Attendants of the bride were her two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Weaver and Mrs. Edna Johnson, attractively dressed identical in peach and blue taffeta gowns and carried bouquets of matching flowers.

The bride and groom were congratulated by many and showered with a friendly hail of rice upon leaving the church.

A wedding reception followed immediately at the Community Center and was a happy affair. The bride and groom, according to custom cut the first slice of the beautiful three-tiered wedding cake, after which all were served refreshments.

The bride's mother, Mrs. Edith Martin was dressed in a navy blue dress, with matching accessories and wore a corsage of red and white carnations.

Mrs. Edward Devader, mother of the groom, wore a flowered navy dress with matching accessories, and wore a corsage of red and white carnations.
