Ketterman-Macha vows are exchanged here on May 29

Kristine Ann Ketterman and Mr. Donald Eugene Macha exchanged marriage vows during a nuptial Mass celebrated by the Rev. Carl Starkloff, Kansas City, Mo., at 2:00 p.m., May 29, in the Immaculate Conception Church, St. Marys.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Ketterman, St. Marys, and Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Macha, Rossville.

The bride’s floor-length gown of white silk organza was fashioned with Chantilly lace bodice, stand-up collar, and bishop sleeves. The skirt and detachable watteau train were trimmed with appliqued lace motifs. A Juliet cap of white embroidered daisies held her veil, and she carried a bouquet of red roses, white carnations, and baby’s breath.

Attending the bride were Kathy Ketter, and the bride’s sister, Jane Ketterman, both of St. Marys.

Alan Bird, Rossville, was best man, and the bridegroom’s brother, Ken Macha, was a groomsman. Ushers were Dick Ketterman and Bill Macha, brothers of the couple.

A reception in the Centennial building followed the ceremony.

Mrs. Macha is employed by Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka. Mr. Macha is employed by Bennett Brothers Standard Service Station, and is a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve.
