Mr. Frank H. Martin and Miss Blanche Vorhies were quietly married last Saturday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vorhies, Rev. H.L. Nelson officiating. Those witnessing the ceremony were: Dr. and Mrs. F.H. Martin, Miss Vera Martin of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Vorhies, Miss Beulah Vorhies and Miss Gertrude Hook of Rossville. A plain band ring was used to seal the marriage vow. The bride was attired in a gray traveling suit, and the groom in the conventional plain black. The happy couple left amidst a shower of rice and good wishes, on the evening train for their future home in Topeka.
