| Engagement- Rezac, Linda-Dayton, John LINDA REZAC AND JOHN DAYTON PLAN JUNE WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. James Rezac of Rossville announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Leigh, to John Dayton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles G. Dayton, Rossville.
Miss Rezac is a graduate of Kansas State Teachers College, Emporia, and has taught at Highland Park High School and Wenatchee High School, Wenatchee, Washington. She is presently a graduate assistant at Kansas State Teachers College and will receive her Master’s degree in May.
Mr. Dayton has attended Washburn University, served three years in the U. S. Army Security Agency, and is presently employed by Forsell’s, Inc. of Topeka.
A June wedding is planned.

Mrs. Ben Stach and Mrs. Fred McCollough were hostesses at a bridal shower honoring Linda Rezac Friday, April 30, in Mrs. Me Collough’s home at Rossville. Miss Rezac and John Dayton will be married May 29.

Three Hostesses Fete Bride Elect
Linda Rezac will be the honor guest at a miscellaneous shower Saturday evening to be given by Mrs. Eugene Tholl and her daughters, Mrs. Mary Moylan and Mrs. Betty Marney.
The party will be given at the Tholl home and guests will include Miss Rezac, Mrs. Evelyn Rezac, Mrs. Sophia Dayton, Mrs. Irene Davis, Mrs. Ethel Davis, Mrs. Helen Wilt, Mrs. Fern Rogers, Mrs. Ruth Hesse, Mrs. Edna Spears, Mrs. Maxine Trimble, Mrs. Irene Campbell, Mrs. Mary Jane Berkey, Mrs. Ruby Rezac, and Mrs. Ernestine Fauerbach.

| Marriage- Rezac, Linda-Dayton, John 2 Rezac-Dayton Vows Said in Rossville Presbyterian Church
Linda Leigh Rezac and John W. Dayton, both of Rossville, exchanged marriage vows at 2 p.m. May 29 in the Rossville Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Donald Sears officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Mrs. J.C. Campbell was organist and Mrs. Don Berkey, soloist. Kathy Dayton, sister of the bridegroom, lighted the candles.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James E. Rezac and Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Dayton, all of Rossville.
The bride's father gave her in marriage. Her gown of silk organza over taffeta, fashioned on Empire lines, had notched bracelet-length sleeves. The bateau neckline was trimmed with appliqued motifs of reembroidered Alencon lace beaded with seed pearls. A Watteau train was caught high on the back bodice by self-fabric bows. The train and the controlled bell skirt were accented with occasional motifs of beaded lace.
Her fingertip-length veil was held by a lace crown beaded with seed pearls. She carried a white orchid on a white Bible.
Virginia Rezac was her sister's maid of honor and Mrs. A.B. Lindwall, Wichita, was bridesmatron. They wore street-length dresses of pale blue silk linen styled on princess lines with square necklines. They carried bouquets of white daisies.
C.R. Dayton, Yorba Linda, Calif., brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Larry Barngrover was groomsman, and ushers were Danny Dayton, Rossville, another brother of the bridegroom, James Watts and Jack Springstead, Topeka.
A reception in the church followed the ceremony. Assisting were Mrs. Lawrence Brooks, Tucson, Ariz.; Mrs. C.R. Dayton, Yorba Linda, Calif.; Mrs. Herbert Trimble, Emporia; Mrs. Ernest E. Rezac, Judy Fauerbach and Bonnie Fauerbach, all of Rossville; and Martha Garretson, Topeka.
After a wedding trip to New York, Cape Cod and Pennsylvania, the couple will be at home at 1810 Lincoln, Topeka.
Mrs. Dayton received her master's degree from Kansas State Teachers College of Emporia this spring and will be employed by the Topeka public school system in the fall.
Mr. Dayton attended Washburn University and is employed by Forsell's Inc.
