  • Notes
    • Some evidence indicates he was married to Emma O'Donnell Van Vleck. We can confirm Emma O'Donnell Van Vleck was the second wife of Frank Van Vleck (Mahlon's father).

Findagrave.com says they were married, but we are not sure this is correct.

Update: According to a relative on ancestry.com:

Emma Van Vleck Van Vleck: Emma was married (after the death of Franks first wife Olivia Kirkpatrick) to Frank. She later (after Lois my grandmother was born) with her step son Mahlon and were in Kansas City. They later had a son named Mahlon. When Lois went to marry my grandfather (Andrew G McConnell Sr) she went to Kansas City and Emma signed her underage marriage license. By the next year when my father was born they were living with Frank. at the next census Frank was living with Lois and Pete (Andrew g McConnell sr) and her cousin Cleo ODonnell was living with them in the next census. according to a family member Cleo and Lois were married(being first cousins). I haven't been able to substantiate since haven't found any records of Emma before marriage to Frank.
