    ROSENCUTTER - MESMER
    VOWS EXCHANGED SUNDAY
On Sunday, October 26, at 3 pm in the Rossville Christian Church Josephine Jean Rosencctter, grand-daughter of Mrs. Maude Rosencutter of Manhattan, and Leonard Gale Mesmer, son of Mrs. J. W. Mesmer, were united in marriage. The double ring ceremony was conducted by Mr. Ben Duerfeldt, minister of the Christian Church, in the presence of relatives and a few friends.

Miss Janet Harth played the wedding music. Given in marriage by her uncle, Mr. Lloyd Rosencutter, the bride wore a white lace over taffeta, ballerina length dress, made with full skirt and sleeveless, fitted bodice. The neckline was draped in white net. She wore a small white hat and carried a white Bible and bouquet of red roses.

A reception followed the ceremony in the Sunday School room of the church. The wedding cake centered the white linen covered table. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Lloyd Rosencutter and Mrs. Mesmer.

After the unwrapping of gifts and the usual rice-throwing, the couple left for a short wedding trip. They will reside in Manhattan, Kansas.
