    Sheppeard-Kovar wedding in S. Carolina

    Miss Peggy Ann Sheppeard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Sheppeard of St. Marys, became the bride of Pvt. Philip Ray Kovar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kovar of Delia, on February 10. The wedding took place in Aiken, S. Carolina, at 8:00 p.m. with E. Glenn Willis officiating.

    The bride wore a blue and white walking-suit of lightweight wool, with blue-feathered hat and black accessories.

    Mr. and Mrs. Dan Norris of Augusta, Ga., were the attendants.

    Mrs. Kovar is a graduate of St. Mary's High School, class of 1959, and is employed at the city clerk's office in Junction City, and will continue working during her husband's absence.

    Private Kovar is a graduate of Silver Lake High School, class of 1956, and is now serving with the US Army as a telephone installation repairman. He left for duty in Korea, February 17, where he will be stationed for the next 13 months.

    The couple spent a week at Fort Gordon, Ga., where he had been stationed. Mrs. Kovar returned Friday from Georgia.
