    Miss Dorotha Pearl Rose of St. Marys Kansas, and Mr. Earl Ward Miller, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl D. Miller of this community, were united in marriage Friday, March 1, by the Rev. D.H. Fisher, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Manhattan. The wedding took place at the residence of the pastor, 1735 Fairview at 9:30 p.m.

    The bride's gown was of soft pink georgette crepe and lace. The groom wore the conventional navy blue.

    Both are graduates of Rossville high school with the class of '28. Mr. Miller has just completed the first year's short course at Manhattan. He is now employed by his uncle, Dr. H.B. Miller.
