  Marriage- Kerwin, Robert and Kate Mr. Robert Kerwin and Miss Kate Murray, Cross Creek, were married at Holy Cross on May 23 by Reverend Father Dunning. At 8 that evening, friends of the party assembled to the amount of 40 couples and enjoyed themselves in keeping time to the well-rendered musical notes of the celebrated Jackson Brothers String Band. To say they all enjoyed a good time is putting it mild. A long list of the wedding gifts, and those who sent the gifts, is also given in the accounts.
