Hargis will be honored with a 60th wedding anniversary reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 27 in the Fontainebleau Apartments Clubhouse. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Hargis were married March 27. 1917 in Lawrence. Mr. Hargis was a Standard Oil dealer for 31 years before his retirement in 1963.
