    An August wedding is planned by Linda Ann Bush and John Robert Vacca. Their engagement is announced by Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bush, Rossville, parents of the bride-elect. Mr. Vacca is the son of Lt. Col. (ret.) and Mrs. J.V. Vacca, Frederick, Md.

    Miss Bush, a graduate of Rossville High School, is a junior at Washburn University, majoring in music. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota professional music fraternity.

    Mr. Vacca was graduated from Frederick High School and attended Frederick Community College. He is serving in the U.S. Air Force, stationed at Whiteman AFB, Mo.

    Bush-Vacca Vows Exchanged Aug. 2
    Linda Ann Bush became the bride of John Robert Vacca Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in Rossville. The Rev. Paul Mitchell officiated.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Bush, Rossville; and Lt. Col. (ret.) and Mrs. John V. Vacca, Frederick, Md.

    The bride wore a gown of white organza fashioned in an A- line silhouette with a deep lace-edged redingote which extended to an chapel train. Venise-lace daisies trimmed the Victorian neckline, Empire waistline and cuffs of the short puff sleeves.

    Her double-tiered veil was gathered to a white organza bow trimmed with Venise-lace daisies and pearls. She carried a cascade of pink roses, pixie carnations, daisies, stephanotis and baby’s breath on a white Bible.

    Kathi Hanna, Silver Lake, attended the bride as maid of
    honor. Bridesmaids were Cathy Bush, sister of the bride, and Laurel Gee, both of Rossville. Flower girl was Kay Ann Pickens.

    Donald Bush Jr., brother of the bride, Rossville, was best man. Groomsmen were Gregg Hanna, Silver Lake, and Roger Bush, Rossville, brother of the bride. Wayne Bush, Eskridge, was ring bearer.

    Gary Bruner and Shelby Tate seated the guests, and Mrs. Gary Bruner and Diana Epling lighted the candles.

    A reception at the church followed the ceremony.

    The bride is a student in music education at Washburn University, where she is a member of Theta chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota women’s professional music fraternity.

    Mr. Vacca graduated from Frederick High School, Frederick, Md., and Frederick Community College. He is serving in the U.S. Air. Force at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

    After a honeymoon in Denver, Colo., the couple is at home in Silver Lake.
