| Anniversary- Bonjour, Fred and Millie Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Bonjour of Onaga, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last Sunday at the home at Onaga for their children and grandchildren at an informal “at home” all afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Bonjour have lived in and around Onaga all their married life. Mr. Bonjour came to Kansas from Indiana in 1855 with his parents in a prairie schooner drawn by oxen, settled on a homestead, living in a log cabin, and enduring drought and grasshoppers of the pioneer period. Mrs. Bonjour came from West Virginia with her father, the late R.H. Keeney. Mr. and Mrs. Bonjour’s children are Jasper and Ira Bonjour of Onaga, Mrs. C. W. Burton of Morganville, and Mrs. Frank Zickefoose of Rossville. |
