  Anniversary- Allen, Dale and Connie Allens to celebrate 50th anniversary Dale Allen and Connie Scheidegger will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22. The couple was married Nov. 22, 1961 at the First Christian Church in Holton, with the Rev. M.M. Wright officiating. Dale and Connie graduated from Holton High School where they were high school sweethearts. Dale currently works as a bus driver for USD 336, and Connie works part time for Bar S Tack. Dale is retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and Connie i is retired from the Jackson County Appraiser’s Office. They still reside on the family farm. The Allens will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family dinner. Their children are Scott and Sandy Allen and Steve and Aleta Allen, all of Holton. Grandchildren are Lannie Thornes, Taylor Allen and Nick, Justin and Cooper Allen. Great-grandson is Peyton Thornes.
