Linda Wehner, a sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Kate Eriksoh, also a sister of the bride, was bridesmatron. Flower girl was Paula Sue Wehner, niece of the bride.

Faye Miller, Rossville, attended the guest book. Rita Davis and Pam Flynn, St. Louis; and Flora Stwalley, Topeka, the bride’s aunt, served the wedding cake, coffee and punch. The bride’s mother created the wedding cake and topped it with a hand-blown glass heart with small bells and doves. Rita Wehner and Leona Faulk assisted in the kitchen.

Timothy Dewhurst, brother of the groom, Andover, Mass, was best man. Scott Rankin, St. Louis, was groomsman. Ushers were Larry Wehner, Rossville, and T. J. Flynn, St. Louis.

The wedding colors were nutmeg brown, ivory, burgundy and light pink. The bride’s attendants each wore floor length burgundy gowns with sleeveless ruffled vests. Each carried a long-stemmed pink rose with baby’s breath and fern, tied with a light pink lace ribbon. The flower girl wore a floor length pinafore dress in light pink. She carried a basket, decorated with pink and burgundy lace ribbons, filled with rose petals from Grandma Miller’s flower garden.

The bride’s mother wore a floor length gown in mauve colored silk alure with sheer long sleeves. The groom’s mother wore a floor length gown in violet with a floral sheer jacket. Mothers’ corsages were pink sweetheart roses and baby’s breath with pink lace ribbon.

The groom wore a nutmeg brown tuxedo with a butternut jacket trimmed in brown. The groom’s boutonniere was a red rose with baby’s breath. The groom’s attendants and the fathers wore solid nutmeg brown tuxedos with pink rose boutonnieres. The ushers each wore solid nutmeg brown tuxedos with pink carnation boutonnieres.

The bride’s gown was made of candlelight silk organza Brussels lace over Qiana satin. It was styled with a high banded lace neckline, fitted waist and capelet style back with Qiana satin covered buttons down the back and on fitted long sleeves. The sheer skirt extended to form a chapel-length train. The fingertip-length veil was mantilla- styled in polyester illusion. The bouquet was long-stemmed red roses, baby’s [missing rest]
