    Marriage- DeVinney, Jennie-Pratt, Henry
    Wedding Bells.
Wednesday evening, at eight o'clock, at the residence of the bride's parents, Dr. H.F. Pratt and Miss Jennie Devinney were united in the bonds of holy matrimony, the Rev. William Howell being the officiating clergyman. Those present beside Mr. and Mrs. Devinney, were Messrs. John and Albion Pratt of North Topeka (brothers to the groom), Mrs. Rev. Howell, and Miss Fannie George. The principals in this happy event left for North Topeka this (Thursday) morning, where they will remain a few days visiting the bridegroom's parents. The visit ended, they will return to Rossville to exchange parting words with their parents and friends, after which they will proceed to Beverley, Kas., their future home. Mr. and Mrs. Pratt are highly respected in Rossville. The former practiced medicine in this city, in conjunction with Dr. H.H. Miller. The latter is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Devinney of this place. She has always been recognized as an ornament to society, an active church worker, and one whose tenor of life has been commendable. Dr. Pratt has a good practice at Beverley. He is a gentleman whose efficiency and persistency will cary him along in a successful professional walk. In wishing Mr. and Mrs. Pratt a long and happy life we voice the sentiment of those who have long had the pleasure of their acquaintance and who heartily wish them God-speed.
