The church was decorated with large baskets of rainbow chrysanthemums.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of chantilly lace with sabrina neckline, trimmed with seed pearls and sequins, and short scalloped edge sleeves. The fitted bodice drifted into a bouffant veil of silk illusion was held by a forward headpiece of lace petals edged with pearls and crystal beads. She carried red sweetheart roses.

Miss Marily Rosser, Holton, was maid of honor. She wore a blue cotton brocade dress. Bridesmatrons were Mrs. William J. Rezac, St. Marys, sister-in-law of the bride, and Mrs. Gary Dick, St. Marys, sister of the bridegroom. Mrs. Rezac wore a dress of pink, each matching the maid of honor. They each carried a bouquet of white daisies.

Sharon and Ronda Seitz, St. Marys, were candlelighters. Their pink dresses were styled after the bride's attendants. They wore wrist corsages of white carnations.

Dan Perry, St. Marys, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. William Rezac, St. Marys, brother of the bride, and David Salisbury, Emporia, were groomsmen. Ushers were Gerald Block, Emporia, and Gary Simecka, St. Marys.

For the wedding, the bride's mother chose a two-piece turquoise linen knit dress with beige accessories. The bridegroom's mother wore a navy blue batiste dress with white accessories. Each had a corsage of white roses.

A reception in the church hall followed the ceremony. Those assisting were Mrs. Linn Morrow, who served the cake; Mrs. Richard Simecka, Onaga, poured the punch; and Mrs. Ed Tuller, Rossville, and Mrs. Martin Weybrew at the gift table. Miss Linda Ogle, Emmett, was in charge of the guest book.

For going-away, the bride wore a bone linen suit with black accessories, and a red sweetheart rose corsage.
