  Anniversary- Wade, Thomas and Katherine Katherine and Thomas Wade Sr. will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a card shower at Box 134, Silver Lake, KS 66539. Thomas Wade and Katherine Hoerner were married Sept. 20, 1947, in the chapel of the Christian Church in Lawrence. Mr. Wade retired from AT&T in 1983. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific from 1944 - 1946. Mrs. Wade worked in the school lunch program at Silver Lake and is a homemaker. They have a son, Thomas F. Wade Jr., and wife Judy. Their son, Fred Wade, passed away in 1984. They have four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
