Officiating at the 2 p.m. service were the Rev. John S. Hedlund and the Rev. John Charles Martin. The bride was given in marriage by her oldest son, Dallas L. Small, Topeka. Karen Trump was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Clarissa Halasney, Mindy Failer, daughter of the bridegroom, and Lona Jost, daughter of the bride. All are of Topeka. She is a Topeka area crafts maker and vendor. The bridegroom is a graduate of Kaw Area Technical School. He is employed by Famous Brands Distributors in the shipping and receiving department. The bride is the daughter of Iris D. Dixon, Topeka, and the late Leo B. Dixon. Mr. Failer is the son of the late John E. and Francis I. Failer. The couple live in Topeka. A summer honeymoon trip is being planned.
