    STADLER—LOMBARDI
    The marriage of Kathryn E. Stadler to T-5 Philip Joseph Lombardi, was solemnized at the Chapel of Camp Funston in Ft. Riley, Saturday, January 27, at 11 a. m. The couple was attended by her sister, Anna Miles of Topeka, and Corporal Lawrence Paris of Camp Funston in military style. The Captain of the 66th Signal Battalion gave the bride in marriage.

    The bride was lovely in light blue with dark blue accessories. Her sister wore salmon red with black accessories. The couple was accompanied to Camp Funston by Anna Miles, Mrs. Cecille Brown and Robert Blitz, all of Topeka. Corporal Lawrenice of the Camp and Mrs. Joe Stadler of Rossville. The boys of the 66th Signal Battalion took great pleasure in wishing the young couple much happiness. The wedding party took dinner with the boys at their Mess Hall after the ceremony.

    Mrs. Lombardi is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stadler of 201 Freeman, Topeka, but formerly of this community. Mr. Lombardi is a marine from Nectong, New Jersey Since he is expecting to be moved soon, Mrs. Lombardi will make her home with her sister, Mrs. Anna Miles and son Bernie at 13 Harrison in Topeka.

    Kathryn graduated from RHS in 1944.
