  Anniversary- Barr, Robert and Elsie Robert and Elsie Barr Robert and Elsie will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m., Oct. 29, at the Sunrise Optimist Bldg., 720 NW 50th, Topeka. They were married on Oct. 21,1956 at the Methodist Church in Silver Lake. Robert worked construction for 44 years, retiring in 1999 from Senne Const. Co. Elsie worked 14 years at BC-BS and retired in 2000 from Seaman School Dist. after 20 years. They have 2 children and 1 grandson. Shelley Gower and husband Brad and son Parker live in Topeka. Todd Barr and Margo live in Baltimore, MD. Friends, neighbors, and relatives are invited to come celebrate with them. No gifts please.
