The couple requests no gifts, please. Maxine Hixon and Homer Mongold were married March 20,1948, at Lawrence. They are the parents of the late Sidney “Sid” Dale Mongold, and the grandparents of three — Tammy Mongold Useman, Fort Myers, Fla., Rodney Mongold and Sam Mongold, both of Casper, Wyo. Homer is retired from the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Topeka. Maxine is a homemaker.
