    Glen Stalker to Wed
Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Fawcett, of Denver, formerly of Topeka, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Gladys, to Mr. Glen Stalker, of San Francisco, Calif., son of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Stalker, of Rossville. The wedding will take place Christmas Eve in the United Presbyterian church in Denver.

The Fawcett family lived in Topeka until moving to Wichita a few years ago. They later moved to Denver. Gladys, vivacious and attractive, attended Washburn college where she became a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, and later was a student in Kansas university.

Mr. Stalker distinguished himself as captain of the football team during his senior year in Washburn. He was prominent in college activities and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Following his graduation from Washburn, Mr. Stalker took a two-year course in the Graduate School of Business of Leland Stanford university, where he received his M.B.A. degree. He is now associated with E.F. Sutton & Co., a brokerage firm, in San Francisco, where he and his bride will make their home.

The news of the approaching marriage is of much interest in Topeka and Rossville, where the families of the young couple are well known. Mr. and Mrs. Stalker plan to go to Denver for the wedding.
