    Beseaus To Celebrate Golden Anniversary
Betty and Don Beseau, St. Marys, will celebrate their 5O'h wedding anniversary as guests of honor at an open house reception Saturday, September 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hammond Hall. Hosting the occasion will be their daughters and their spouses — Sandy and Joe Wright, Houston, TX, and Debbie and Mark Votaw, Topeka. A son, Jim Beseau, is deceased.

The couple has seven grandchildren — Shane and Dustin Adams, Bethel Springs, TN; Shanna Wright, Houston, TX; Chris and Tony Votaw, Topeka; and Lyndsay and Sydnay Beseau, Ormond Beach, FL. The Beseaus have three great-grandchildren — Seth Alaminsky, Pacen Adams, and Skylar Beseau. One great-granddaughter, Makayla Adams, died in infancy.

Mrs. Beseau has been employed at the St. Marys Manor for the past 23 years. She is presently serving as a part-time activity aide. Mr. Beseau served as Chief of Police of St. Marys for 18 years, and has worked in hardware stores the past 20 years until his retirement this past year. He served in the USAF in Alaska during the Korean conflict, and served a year in Vietnam after having been called to active duty with the Army in 1968. He is retired from the Army Reserve after 27 years of active and reserve military service.

The couple requests no gifts, please.
