    Cowan-Denton Vows Exchanged
    Miss Denise Marie Cowan and Mr. Thomas Patrick Denton exchanged wedding vows Saturday, February 2, 1974, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. The Rev. A1 Rockers officiated at the ceremony.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cowan, Rossville, and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Denton, St. Marys.

    The bride chose a gown of ivory organza with a turquoise satin ribbon. Quaker lace outlined the bodice, the Medici sleeves and the sweep train. A turquoise bow accented the back, and the bride wore a Camelot headpiece.

    Marlene Sack, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Jennifer Sack, niece of the groom, was flowergirl, and the ring bearer was Joshua Wilson, nephew of the bride.

    Mr. Denton was attended by Donald Sack, brother-in-law of the groom.

    Ushers were Mark Cowan, brother of the bride, and Chad Entsminger, cousin of the bride.

    Mrs. Denton is a recent graduate of Rossville High School. Mr. Denton, a 1973 graduate of St. Marys High School, is employed by the Santa Fe Shops in Topeka.

    The couple is at home in St. Marys.
