The St. Francis Xavier church at Mayetta was the setting for the wedding of Sandra L. Miller and Stephen L. Eisenbarth at 2 p.m. on November 25. Father William Kauffman officiated.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Miller, Delia and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Eisenbarth, Hoyt.

Deborah Little, Delia, sang “You Light Up My Life” and “For Baby For Bobbie”, before the ceremony and Laura Waller was at the organ.

The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her father, wore a gown of white organza over bridal satin. It was designed with a high neckline and full Bishop sleeves. Cotton Venise lace accented the neckline, bodice and sleeves. Seed pearls were sprinkled over the lace. The floor length skirt featured lace motifs and was bordered at the hemline, which extended to a chapel length train, by Venise lace.

A Juliet cap held the fingertip English illusion veil, edged in matching lace.
She carried mixed flowers of white carnations, red roses, miniature pink roses and baby’s breath. She wore pearl earrings, and an heirloom necklace.

Bridesmaids were Jackie Meyer, Axtell, a friend of the bride, and Beth Miller, Delia, sister of the bride.

Russell Kalcik, Hoyt, was bestman and Mark Eisenbarth was junior groomsman.

Ushers were Rodney Miller, Delia; Kenny Eisenbarth, Hoyt; brothers of the couple.

A reception was held in the church basement following the ceremony. Helping at the reception were Mrs. Nancy Boten, Great Bend, sister of the bride, Kathy Noll, Atchison, Mrs. Linnea Park, Lawrence and Pat Nixon, Topeka, friends of the bride.

Deborah Eisenbarth, Hoyt, sister of the groom, was in charge of the guest book.

A buffet dinner was served at 5:30 in the church basement and a dance followed at the fair building in Holton.

After a honeymoon through the Southern states, the couple is at home at 1606 Clay, Topeka.
