    Trubey - Feltner marriage at Christian church
    Miss Rozella Ann Trubev, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trubey of Rossville, became the bride of Mr. Lucien C. Feltner in a ceremony performed Sunday, November 27, at 2:30 p. m. in the Rossville Christian church. Mr. Feltner is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jasper P. Feltner of Whitestown. Indiana.

    The double-ring service was read by Rev. Ben Duerfeldt in the presence of friends and relatives.

    Miss Margaret Rappard of Topeka sang “Through the Years” and “O Promise Me”. She was accompanied by Mrs. Ben Duerfeldt, pianist, who also played the traditional wedding music.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor length gown of chantilly lace and tulle. The slender bodice was fashioned with a yoke of illusion finished with a Queen Anne collar of lace. The long lace sleeves tapered to points over the hands. The full gathered skirt of tulle featured wide bands of lace from waist to hemline He two-tiered veil of pure silk illusion was held by a tiara of lace and seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of white gardenias and white feather carnations

    Miss Charlotte Shenk of Topeka, the bridesmaid, wore a waltz-length gown of mint green net over taffeta with a matching bolero jacket and net tiara. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow mums and pompons. Miss Dorothy Rappard of Topeka served as candle lighter. Her waltz-length gown was of yellow net over taffeta with matching sleeveless bolero and net tiara. She wore a wrist corsage of lavender pompons.

    Mr. Bruce Bleak was best man and ushers were Mr. Tom Baines and Mr. John Kunesh. All are in the Air Force stationed at Forbes Air Force Base, Topeka.

    For her daughter’s wedding Mrs. Trubey chose a dress of blue accetate rayon crepe with navy accessories and a corsage of pink carnations.

    A reception was held at the bride’s home following the ceremony. Miss Pauline Timmons was in charge of the guest book.

    For traveling the bride chose a tan knit suit with brown accessories. The couple will make their home in Indiana.

    Mrs. Feltner is a graduate of Rossville High School and was employed as a stenographer for a Topeka insurance company.

    Mr. Feltner recently received his discharge from the Air Force. He was stationed at Forbes Air Force Base in Topeka.
