At her wedding to Laird Leslie French, Sharon A. Warfel carried three topiary balls of pink roses, daisies and chrysanthemums suspended on satin ribbon.

The Rev. Ralph Newell officiated at the couple's wedding in Community Baptist Church. Candlelighter's were Jimmy Tew and Mark Brooks.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Oscar C. Warfel, and Mr. French is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard French, Rossville.

The bride's A-line satin gown was trimmed with re-embroidered Alencon lace. The bodice had a portrait neckline and bishop sleeves. A Watteau panel was of Alencon lace, and matching lace trimmed her train-length mantilla.

Cheryl Oliver, Maple Hill, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Judy Warfel, Custer, S.D., Kristie French, Jeanne Gage and Brenda Bergstrom. Teresa Ann Hammer was flower girl, and Trey Hammer served as ring bearer.

Gary French was best man. Groomsmen were Doug French, Dave Richardson, William Smatla and Leroy Carroll, all of Rossville. Ushering were Timothy Lynde, St. Marys, Gerald Perry and Jim Lacock, Rossville.

A reception in the church followed the ceremony. A dance that evening was at the Moravian Lodge north of Rossville.

Mrs. French is employed as a stenographer in the Santa Fe offices and Mr. French is engaged in farming at Rossville.
