Phyllis Carr and Frank Kennedy were married Sept. 14, 1955, in Albuquerque, N.M., while Mr. Kennedy was serving in the U.S. Air Force. Their children are Joe and Suzie Kennedy, Emmett; Bill Kennedy, Wamego; and Debby and Steve Fischer, Emmett. They have five grandchildren, Chis, Adam, LaCey, Amanda and Markie. Mr. Kennedy has owned and operated Kennedy Oil Co. in Emmett for the past 45 years. Mrs. Kennedy is a homemaker.
