  Anniversary- Boatwright, Norval and Dessie MR. AND MRS. BOATWRIGHT The children of Mr. and Mrs. Norval Boatwright, Garnett, will honor them Sunday, June 23 with a reception in the First Baptist Church, Garnett, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. in celebration of the couple’s 60th wedding anniversary. Hosts will be: Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Boatwright, Annandale, Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Boatwright, Sycamore, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Boatwright, Delia; and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Evans, Hays. Mr. and Mrs. Boatwright were married June 24, 1014 in the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Merrifield, near Kincaid. Mr. Boatwright taught for 46 years before his retirement in 1958. The couple requests that no gifts be presented.
