| Bridal Shower- Cless, Thelma Miss Grace Sanders and Mrs. Williamette Thomas of Manhattan, entertained, Tuesday evening, at the home of Mrs. Peter Navarre with a miscellaneous shower honoring Miss Thelma Cless.
The guests were entertained on the lawn, brilliantly lighted with floor lamps and electric lights strung from the porch to trees. The evening was spent piecing a four-patch friendship quilt for the honoree, and each guest assisted in writing a menu and providing thoughtful suggestions for use by the bride-to-be.
To the strains of “Here Comes the Bride” played by Miss Mary Ann Hartzell, the guests marched into the dining room where Miss Cless found her shower of gifts, many and useful, arranged on the table. The table was lovely with streamers of pink and blue crepe paper hung from the chandeliers. A pink and blue parasol also hung from the chandelier over the table, symbolic of a shower.
Refreshments of ice cream and two kinds of cake were served. The invited guests were Mesdames Charlie Todd, Dover, Roscoe Lawrence, Mrs. Clyde Cless. Hutchinson, Katie Cless, Williamette Thomas, Manhattan. Ruth Hesse, A. M. Hedges, H. E. Ishmael, Lois Miller, Belva Jane Butters, J. W.
