    Guests were Jeannine Thompson and Donola Fairbanks, Delia; Debra Sebring, Osage City; Belinda Williams, Marv Birmingham, Robin Whitehead, LaRita Morris, Marilyn Houpt, Jolene Gasson, and Jody Correll, all of Topeka.

    Miss Crow and Tim Hersh will be married December 27.

    Denise Elaine Crow, Silver Lake, and Timothy Alan Hersh, Topeka, will be married December 6, 1980, at Northland Christian Church in Topeka. Parents of the couple are Mrs. Ed Thompson, Delia; Calvin Crow, Osage City, and Mr. and Mrs. George K. Hersh, Topeka.

    Miss Crow is a graduate of Rossville High School and is employed by First National Bank of Topeka, and Richards Distributors. Mr. Hersh is a graduate of Seaman High School and attended Kansas State University. He is employed by Montgomery Ward and Company.

    Crow-Hersh Wedding Held December 27

    Denise Elaine Crow and Timothy Alan Hersh, Topeka, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 1980, at the Northland Christian Church. The Reverend Mike Heil officiated at the double ring ceremony. The church was decorated with gladioli, carnations and poinsettias.

    Music was provided by Ms. Debbie Wilson, soloist, accompanied by Wesley Jones, Topeka, brother-in-law of the bride, on guitar and Ms. Jermie Lowe, organist.

    The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of lace and net over taffeta with the skirt extending into a chapel length train. Her finger-tip veil was trimmed with lace matching the gown. She carried a bouquet of pink daisies, burgundy roses and stephanotis with white ribbon streamers. Her jewelry was her mother’s diamond locket.

    Kathy Thomas, Topeka, was maid of honor. Bridesmatrons were Donola Fairbanks, Delia, Debra Sebring, Osage City, and Lori Jones, Topeka, all sisters of the bride. Melody Sebring, Osage City, and Holly Fairbanks, Delia, nieces of the bride, were candlelighters. Stephanie Powers, Dallas, Tex., niece of the groom, was flower girl. They wore pink gowns and matching pink daisies in their hair. They carried bouquets of daisies, roses and stephanotis with burgundy and pink streamers.

    Best man was Rusty Starks, Topeka. The groomsmen were George K. Hersh II, Chicago, brother of the groom; Doug Crow, Delia, brother of the bride; and Greg Kramer, Manhattan. Ushers were Doug Stacken, Topeka, and Tom O’Brien, Valencia, brother-in-law of the groom. Ring bearer was Ryan Fairbanks, Delia, nephew of the bride, who carried the rings on a white heart-shaped pillow. The groom wore a white tuxedo and a burgundy rose boutonniere. The best man, groomsmen, ushers, fathers of the couple and ring bearer all wore burgundy tuxedos. Their boutonnieres were burgundy-tipped carnations.

    At the end of the ceremony the couple presented the parents with long stemmed roses.

    Mothers of the couple wore burgundy gowns with corsages of daisies, roses and stephanotis.

    Holly and Brad Fairbanks, Delia, and Melody Sebring, Osage City, passed out rice bags of pink net tied with burgundy ribbon.

    The reception was held in Fellowship. Hall immediately following the ceremony. Mrs. Tom O’Brien, sister of the groom, was in charge of the guest book. She served at the reception assisted by Mrs. George K. Hersh II, Chicago, and Mrs. John Burge. Mrs. Frank Sloyer was at the gift table.

    Mrs. Hersh is a graduate of Rossville High School and is employed by Frist National Bank of Topeka. Mr. Hersh is a graduate of Seaman High School, attended Kansas State University, and is employed by Express Card and Label Company, Inc. After a short trip to Kansas City, the couple is at home in Topeka.

    Parents of the couple are Mrs. Ed Thompson, Delia; Calvin Crow, Osage City, and Mr. and Mrs. George K. Hersh, Topeka.

    Among the guests at the wedding were the three grandmothers of the couple, all of whom had a part in the wedding preparation -- Mrs. Lola Crow and Mrs. Alice Sloyer, Topeka, and Mrs. Delfern Hailey, Oskaloosa.
