Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dibbern will be guests of honor at an open house to be held at Myron Green’s in Topeka on Sunday, June 9, 1974, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., honoring their 50th wedding anniversary. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests that no gifts be presented.
Hosts and hostesses will be their children: Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Whitfield, Osceola, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bratton, Collinsville, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Crow, Osage City; Mr. and Mrs. Merle E. Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dibbern, and Mrs. Harold Dibbern, all from Topeka.
Mr. and Mrs. Dibbern were married on June 4, 1924, and spent the early part of their marriage on a farm near Delia. The later years have been spent in Topeka where Mr. Dibbern was employed by the Kansas Power and Light Company before his retirement.

Mr. and Mrs. Dibbern were married June 24, 1924 in Topeka. They lived in Delia several years before moving to Topeka. Before his retirement, Mr. Dibbern was employed by Kansas Power and Light Co., They have 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Henry Dibbern and Mabel Banta were married June 4, 1924.
He is retired from Kansas Power & Light, Tecumseh.

Henry Dibbern
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dibbern, Topeka, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the couple’s home, 2113 N.W. Lower Silver Lake Road.
Their children are Merle and Shirley Ross, Topeka; Geneva and Lloyd Whitfield, Mishawaka, Ind.; Avis and Dean Bratton, Collinsville, Okla.; Louise and Lloyd Brandenburg, Topeka; Floyd and Jean Dibbern, Topeka, and the late Harold Dibbern.
They have 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
Henry Dibbern and Mabel Banta were married June 4, 1924, in Delia. Mr. Dibbern is retired from Kansas Power and Light Co. Mrs. Dibbern had been employed by Hollywood- Maxwell, an apparel maker.

| Obituary- Dibbern, Floyd H. Floyd H. Dibbern
Floyd H. Dibbern passed away June 6,2016, at Brewster Place. He was born March 18,1926, at Delia, Kansas, to Henry and Mabel Dibbern.
He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and then served in the Navy during World War II.
He was married to Marjorie “Jean” Baxter on September 10,1946, at the home of her parents in Topeka. His wife in 2009; his son, Ronald Dibbern, in 1987; his granddaughter, Lindsay Wilson, in 2014; two sisters, a brother, and his parents preceded him in death.
The City of Topeka Fire Department, his first duty station being Station # 7 at Huntoon and Oakley, employed Mr. Dibbern. He served as Topeka Fire Chief before retiring in 1975. He then served as Kansas State Fire Marshall under Governor Robert Bennett. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church; Helena Chapter #210, Order of the Eastern Star (Past Patron); Golden Rule Lodge # 90, AF & AM; Topeka Scottish Rite Bodies; Arab Shriners; and Topeka Firefighters Local # 83. In 1987 he served as the Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of Kansas, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include his son, Darrell Dibbern (Gaylene) Topeka; two granddaughters, Robin Dibbern, Cleburne, TX; Ashley Soper, Topeka; three great-grandchildren, Lauren Wilson and Jack Wilson, Overland Park, and Ryan Soper, Topeka.
Graveside services were, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel 4700 SW Seventeenth Street, Topeka. The Topeka Fire Department and the U.S. Navy Honor Guards will conduct tributes.
