| Obituary- Dolezilek, Antonie 2 Our sister Antonie Dolezilek Simecka (maiden name) she passed away 24 Dec 1938 at the farm near Silver Lake, Kans. She was born in the Frysovicich, Moravia in 1871. I think Antonie, she came with their parents to this country, directly to the district where Jackson spent his difficult beginnings on a farm. In 1891 she married John Dolezilek, also our confrere (?) who before her death a few years previous farmed together successfully and acquired the beautiful property. They had seven children of which two died, Cyril & Florence. Surviving are Jan (John), August, Theodore and daughters Ludmila F. Steele and Agnes Bevers. To help her sister, she took her 2-year old daughter which from them married Vaclav Hoch from Wilson. She left two brothers, Frank and Joseph Simecka, two sisters, Agnes Martinek and Frances Williams and 3 grandchildren. With our advice has been three years. She was always mindful of the responsibilities. Funeral was held 26 Dec from Catholics church. Church was well attended and the remains of her stored in Catholic cemetery Mt. Calvary St. Mary's. Family pronounces deep condolences to the deceased and wish you a peaceful rest.
[Note: Translated using Google translate. I’m not sure it is perfect but the basic is there. From my research, I know the names to be accurate. Her married name was Dolezilek but the obit put Simecka last so I added the (maiden name).]
