Jesse Linsacum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Linsacum, was born in Page county, Iowa, November 2, 1882. He came to Kansas with his parents at the age of four years and has spent most of his life in this state. He moved to Delia in 1913 where on October 1, 1916, he was united in marriage to Stacia McClain. To this union was born one child, Vinita Givendohen. He had four brothers and two sisters, four half-brothers and two half-sisters. His father preceded him to the world beyond Sept. 26, 1913. He went to Colorado in 1920 for his health but to no avail and returned to Delia three months ago … He professed faith in Christ but never united with any church. … he belonged to the Masonic Blue Lodge and to the Knights Templar. He died March 18, 1923, aged 40 years 4 months and 16 days. The funeral was conducted from the Adrian church … The burial service was conducted by the Masons. He leaves to mourn his departure, wife, one daughter, mother, two brothers and two sisters …

Sawdust Trail. Mrs. Linsacum and daughter Gertrude who were called here by the illness and death of her son went to Delia Saturday evening to visit friends a few weeks before returning to their home at Lamar, Colo.
