  Documents		Marriage- Hanson, Helga-Martin, John Martin-Hanson - At the home of the bride's parents in Topeka, Monday, December 22, 1902, John Preston Martin and Miss Helga Eleanor Hanson plighted their troth as man and wife. The Rev. Heranus, pastor of the Lutheran Church performed the ceremony in the presence of a few invited relatives and friends. The bride is one of Topeka's fair daughters, an enthusiastic church worker and a favorite in social circles. Mr. Martin is the gentlemanly barber who presides at the "OK" barber shop in this city. The happy couple arrived in Rossville on the evening "plug" and were met at the depot by an admiring and well-wishing crowd who deluged the bride and groom with rice and happy congratulations. Mr. and Mrs. Martin were the recipients of numerous and valuable presents by their many Topeka friends as a token of the high regard and esteem in which they were held.
