Conley, celebrated his eighth birthday today and had about thirty of his school companions as guests at a dinner today noon. Grandpa and Grandma Conley gave the dinner at their home. A big cake with eight candles adorned the center of the table and "Billy" and his little friends adorned the table's sides. Mrs. Martin and daughter Fay, who are noted cooks, had provided plenty of chicken, and tarts that usually tickle the palate of a lusty youngster and the dinner was voted the best ever.
