| Obituary- Berberick, John 1 JOHN BERBERICK
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Brennan Funeral Home in Topeka for John P. Berberick, 72, Topeka, who died Thursday morning, June 9, 1977 at a Topeka hospital following an extended illness. An autopsy is scheduled to determine cause of death.
He was born June 28, 1904, in Topeka, where he lived most of his life.
He owned and operated restaurants in Topeka, Rossville and Delia. He served ten years in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, and American War Dads, both at Topeka, and the American Legion at Rossville.
He married Elizabeth Pfeifer in 1935. She died in 1959. He married Annie Plants on April 23, 1960. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, John Berberick, Cherryvale, and William J. Berberick, Topeka; three stepsons, Clar-ence Plants, Topeka, Jacob Plants, Paonia, Colo., and Robert Plants, El Paso, Tex.; a Stepdaughter, Mrs. Edith Reed, Topeka; two brothers, Jacob Berberick, and William Berberick, both of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Corber, Topeka, and Mrs. Anna Williams, Kathleen, Ga.; and 24 grandchil¬dren.
Parish Rosary was recited Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Berberick, 536 Scotland; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Corber, 554 Scot¬land. and Mrs. Anna Williams, Kath¬leen, Ga.; and 24 grandchildren.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cem-etery. Mr. Berberick will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where parish rosary will be re¬cited at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
