| Birth- Lumpkins, William J.G. Lumpkins, the popular barber, is receiving congratulations upon the arrival of a baby boy at his home on Wednesday evening. |
| Obituary- Lumpkins, William E. William Earl, the little child of Mr. and Mrs. John Lumpkins, died at noon last Friday after a few days illness, at the age of two years. The little one had been suffering with whooping cough and contracted a severe cold which settled on the lungs producing death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Nelson at the Presbyterian Church Saturday afternoon after which the lifeless form was buried in the city cemetery there to await the Master's call when He comes to gather the jewels for His Kingdom.
