  Documents		Marriage- Reser, Zella-Elson, Charles Elson-Reser Wedding. At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Reser, northwest of town, yesterday - Thanksgiving - Mr. Chas. Elson and Miss Zella Reser were united in marriage by the Rev. H.L. Nelson of this city. Promptly at 10 o'clock A.M. Miss Margaret McAdams played Mendelssohn's wedding march and the bridal couple, attended by Miss Minta Reser and Miss Josie Wood and Mr. Will Reser and Mr. Vans Elson, took their positions in the south parlor and there in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends they plighted their troth in the beautiful and impressive marriage ceremony. The bride was handsomely gowned in pure white satin trimmed with white silk apliquin, bugle trimming and overlace; bridal roses were in her hair and the long, white silk bridal vail was worn with queenly dignity. Miss Reser is a charming young lady - beautiful and accomplished; a genuine Kansas girl with all the brightness, sparkling vivacity and womanly graces that go to make a true and faithful wife and a cheerful contented home. Mr. Elson is a young farmer from Wabaunsee county and a worthy young man in ever respect. He has large landed interests near Harveyville, where he and his bride will make their future home. At the noon hour the guests were ushered into the dining room where a splendid wedding feast was in waiting. The table was a vision of good things to eat; fresh fruits from every clime; dainty creations of the culinary art; angel foods and cakes in profusion; turkey, chicken and more substantial food, enough to feed the standing army and all dine in a queen's taste. It was a happy company that surrounded that table. Bright wit and gay repartee from the merry jesters enlivened the meal and joy unalloyed filled each soul. The bride and groom were the recipient of many valuable presents among which we mention: The bride's father, gold banded tea set; Mrs. Reser, water set; Josie Wood, berry set; Mrs. Wyatt Reser, berry set; Nellie McDonnell, lamp; Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Page, berry set; Flora Kennett, vases; Mr. Wm. Caldwell, set silver knives and forks; Mr. Vans Nelson, set silver knives and forks; Mr. and Mrs. I.B. Alter, set silver coffee spoons; Mr. and Mrs. Bagwell, fruit dish; Mr. A. Reser, table linen and dresser cover; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stoops, table linen; Glenn Stoops, napkins; Mr. Finney, box cigar; Will Reser, set oyster bowls; Mr. and Mrs. A. Urbansky, pair lace curtains. The bride and groom left on the evening plug for Topeka enroute to their home at Harveyville, the bride wearing a dove colored traveling suit trimmed in pink lace medallions with a coat to match.
