    Mr. and Mrs. Walter Binney announce the marriage of their daughter, Mildred, to Mr. Leo Berry on August 21, 1927. The ceremony took place in the office of the Immaculate Conception church at St. Marys performed by Rev. Father Schmidt the pastor.

    Mrs. Berry is a graduate of the Rossville high school and for the past two terms has taught the Valencia school with great credit to herself and her school training.

    Mr. Berry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Berry of St. Marys, and is the popular manager of the Berry Grain Co's. Rossville elevator.

    LEO BERRY
    Leo Berry 44 passed away at
    his home Wednesday night, August 3, after a brief illness. His death came as a shock to the community, many persons being unaware of his illness.
    He was born at Pond Creek, Okla., Aug. 22, 1901. He attended St. BeneŽdicts college at Atchison and completed his college work at St. Marys college at St. Marys, where he lived with his parents until coming to Rossville to take charge of the Berry eleŽvator.
    In 1927 he was united in marriage to Miss Mildred Binney of Rossville, and to this union two sons were born.
    Mr. Berry became manager of the Berry Elevator in Rossville in 1926 and has been in business here since that time. He has built up a prosperous business that has done much for this community. In addiŽtion to the local elevator, elevators at Maple Hill, Kiro, Silver Lake and
    Rock Creek were under the Berry control. Mr. Berry also owned and farmed land of his own. He had served two terms as Mayor of RossŽville.
    Mr. Berry is survived by his wife and two sons, Leo Dale and Robert of the home; his mother, Mrs. Emmett Berry, St. Marys; two brothers, EmŽmett, Jr., of Roseville Calif., and Marvin of Silver Lake; two sisters, Mrs. Alan Pierce of Topeka; and Helen Berry of St. Marys.
    Funeral services will be held at the Rossville Catholic church, Saturday morning at 9 a. m.
    Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary cemetery at St. Marys, with Verschelden Funeral home in charge.

    Leo Berry
    Funeral services for Leo Berry were held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at St. Stanislaus Catholic church. It was one of the largest funeral gatherings in the history of this city.
    Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys. The following were the pallbearers: Henry Cerny, Roy Wilt, Roy McClain, Carl Rupin, Warren Pendleton, Cletus Reding.
