    Mr. and Mrs. Walter Binney announce the marriage of their daughter, Mildred, to Mr. Leo Berry on August 21, 1927. The ceremony took place in the office of the Immaculate Conception church at St. Marys performed by Rev. Father Schmidt the pastor.

    Mrs. Berry is a graduate of the Rossville high school and for the past two terms has taught the Valencia school with great credit to herself and her school training.

    Mr. Berry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Berry of St. Marys, and is the popular manager of the Berry Grain Co's. Rossville elevator.

    The ceremony was performed on August 3 in the Immaculate Conception church in St. Marys by the Rev. A.H. Shultz, S.J.

    Mrs. Leo Berry attended the bride as matron of honor. Mr. Leo Berry served as best man for his brother. The couple will be at home in Topeka.

    Robert Lee Berry
    Robert Lee “Bob" Berry, 71, To¬peka, died Monday, May 5, 2003.
    He was born January 28, 1932, in Rossville, the son of Leo and Mildred Binney Berry.
    Mr. Berry graduated from Ross¬ville High School in 1950. He was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Moose Lodge #555, Jimmie Lillard Post 31 of the American Le¬gion it Rossville. He serve in the Navy for four years. He worked for Berry Grain Company, Berry Indus¬tries, Satellite Communications, Pyr¬amid Life Insurance, Venetian Mar¬ble Company and Property Manage¬ment.
    On August 3, 1956, he married Marjorie Elaine Allen Berry in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. She survives.
    Also surviving him are two sons, Robert Berry and William Berry, both of Topeka; a daughter, Brenda Meier, Silver Lake; a brother, Leo Berry, Rossville; and three grand¬children.
    His service was Friday at 10 a.m. in the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. A rosary was re¬cited at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, fol¬lowed by family visitation.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Assumption Catholic Church, St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville, or the Moose Lodge #555 in Topeka.
